This is what ancient Mars might have looked like

Mars is the fourth planet away from the sun. Being farther away makes it colder than planets like Earth, Venus, and Mercury. Most of the time it is very cold on Mars. In the summer days when Mars is close to or at the equator it can be warmer. Even when Mars is at the equator at night mars temperatures still fall below zero. On the summer days when Mars is at the equator it can be around twenty degress Celsius and at night it still drops to negative ninety degress Celsius.
